Project Management
ICSL designs and implements complex custom multi vendor solutions for our clients. These solutions require project management to ensure that the functionality of the solution delivered is in alignment with the initial design.
We realize the scope and magnitude of projects and the imperative for tight and stringent project management. Innovative Corporate Solutions has a long successful track record of good project management. Over the years we have undertaken very complex projects with tight deadlines and budgets and so far delivered all of them with the majority being on time and within budget.
Every project requires financial resources, technical resources, senior management sponsorship, definition, scope management, contingency management, and finally risk and failure management. The sum of all these parts from our perspective = “Project Management.”
For all project engagements we have a project manager or coordinator assigned to the project to ensure a smooth delivery.
The ICSL Project team usually comprises the following personnel:

| Manager Technical Services | Has overall responsibility for the implementation of projects and support issues |
| Project Manager | Dedicated resource responsible for the smooth management and delivery of the project. The project manager is the chief liaison person |
| Technical Architect | Technical lead that assist the project manager to ensure that the implementation is sound from a technical standpoint |
| Lead Site Engineer(s) | Senior installation engineers with required training, certification, and supervisory skills, these persons act in lead roles on the project |
| Engineer | Installation and configuration of materials and equipment |
| Logistics Coordinator | Responsible for the maintenance of inventory, coordination of delivery and pickups, keeping records of all materials delivered to the work site |
| Delivery Team | Responsible for delivery and removal of equipment from the work site |
Project Management Methodology
Our objective is to provide a fast and smooth implementation plan ensuring that the infrastructure is in place within the time frame stated. This will be achieved through our structured approach and project management methodology as indicated by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
All major projects are broken down into the following phases:
1. Planning 2. Materials Procurement 3. Implementation 4. Testing 5. Sign off
Project Experience
ICSL’s team has participated in major complex IT projects in the Caribbean. These include financial institution mergers, cabling design and implementation, new systems roll-outs of 1000+ desktop computers, multi-location wireless network design and installation, multi-location IP (Internet Protocol) telephony design and installation to name a few. The experience gained from these engagements has allowed us to create a solid methodology for these types of projects including rigorous time management controls.
